CANCELLATION WAIVER FEE:
Our Cancellation Waiver allows for a 100% Refund! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
For passengers who are concerned with their inability to join a tour for which they have paid, we now offer a Cancellation Fee Waiver. If, for any reason, you wish to cancel a reservation prior to 12:00 Noon on the business day before the tour, you may do so by notifying our office to receive a full refund of all monies received by JTR Tours, except for the amount paid for the Cancellation Waiver Fee. This Cancellation Fee Waiver must be purchased at the time of booking. Final payment for one day and overnight tours is due thirty (30) days prior to the tour. NO REFUNDS will be given if this Cancellation waiver Fee is not purchased. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE TERMS. NOTE: You cannot cancel a trip by leaving a message on the answering machine. You must call between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday as the office is closed Saturday and Sunday. THIS CANCELLATION WAIVER IS NOT GOOD FOR THE DAY OF THE TRIP. This Cancellation Fee Waiver is NOT INSURANCE and does not cover losses from personal injuries, baggage loss or damage. This Waiver is not transferable or refundable. Should you wish to protect yourself beyond this service, travel insurance is available through CSA. Please ask for a brochure when booking.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE – AIR TOURS & CRUISES:
JTR Tours does not offer a Cancellation Fee Waiver for tours that include airline tickets or cruises. If you are interested in travel insurance for these tours, please ask your reservationist about travel insurance.

JTR TRANSPORTATION MOTOR COACHES:
Our coaches are the most modern available, are driven by experienced professionals and are equipped with lavatories, PA systems, radios, air conditioning, reclining seats, and TV/VCR.

ITINERARY CHANGES:
JTR Tours reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary, accommodations, and meal choices due to reasons beyond our control. JTR Tours reserves the right to adjust prices should there be any significant increases, although none are anticipated. Gadabout Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip due to lack of participation.

“Tour Operator” and its affiliated entities and its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns, neither own nor operate any person or entity which is to, or does, provide goods or services for these trips or tours. Because “Tour Operator” does not maintain any control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers, “Tour Operator” assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the tour suppliers, or other employees or agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrument owned, operated or otherwise by any of these suppliers, or (3) any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omissions on any part of any other party not under the supervision or control of the Operator.

BUS RULES:
NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON JTR TOUR BUSES AT ANYTIME:
All coolers must be stored under the bus while traveling. While traveling on the bus, please be respectful to others – no smoking and no swearing. If anyone becomes disrespectful to others in any way, the police will be called and you will be removed from the bus. JTR Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person(s) who makes himself objectionable to other passengers or who disrupts or endangers the operation of the tour.

SEATING: On one-day tours, we will reserve the front seats for people with medical problems; all other seats will be on a first come, first serve basis. On overnight tours, your seat will be assigned by date of booking. No seat rotation. To be fair: no exceptions!

GRATUITIES TO DRIVER AND TOUR ESCORT: Tipping is optional, based on the quality of service rendered. There is no set amount for gratuities, although we do suggest tipping your driver and escort on both one day and overnight tours. Such gratuity should be extended on an individual and voluntary basis.

LUGGAGE:
Baggage handling is always provided. The handling charge for one suitcase is included in the price of the tour. A small overnight bag is also permitted, if carried by the passenger. Baggage tags are provided – we require all bags to be tagged. JTR Tours will not assume any liability for lost or damaged luggage.

TRAVEL IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS:
In order to enter and leave Canada, all US citizens must carry proper identification as proof of citizenship: a valid passport, an original birth certificate (or certified copy), or naturalization papers. Non-US citizens should contact the nearest Canadian Government Office of Tourism (212-596-1628) for information on current requirements for entry into Canada and re-entry into the US.  JTR Tours is not responsible for failure of passengers to carry proper documentation.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS:
All JTR tours require advanced reservations by calling the office. The following deposit requirements apply to all advanced reservations.

ONE-DAY TOURS:
All one-day tours over fifty dollars ($50.00) require a twenty-dollar ($20.00) deposit per person. This deposit must be mailed within ten (10) days of your reservation. Balance is due thirty (30) days prior to departure. If the cost of the one-day tour is fifty dollars ($50.00) or less, full payment must be mailed within ten (10) days of your reservation. For reservations made within two (2) weeks of the departure date, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Reservations will automatically cancel if payment is not received within two weeks of making the reservation.

OVERNIGHT TOURS:
All deposits are due within ten (10) days of booking. Balance is due thirty (30) days prior to departure. For reservations made within two (2) weeks of the departure date, full payment must be made at the time of booking. Deposit amounts are per person and are as follows:

NOTE: Please inquire regarding the payment policy regarding all overnight tours that involve an airline or cruise ship travel.

PAYMENT:
If paying by check, CLEARLY IDENTIFY tour name and date for which payment is being made. Please make checks payable to JTR Transportation and mail to: 148 Old Route 22, Dover Plains, NY 12522. We also accept MasterCard and Visa.

TRIPLE & QUAD ACCOMMODATIONS:
These are sold with the understanding that there will be two double beds in each room. Individual beds for each person cannot be guaranteed. In some cases, roll-a-way beds are available at an additional cost. This must be requested and paid for before the tour departure date.

CANCELLATION FOR SPORTING EVENTS:
In the event a baseball game or NASCAR race is cancelled due to weather conditions, JTR Tours will provide you with the ticket to the event. You will be responsible to find your own transportation on the rain date. Gadabout Tours will not give refunds or credits for any sporting event due to a weather-related cancellation.
